Back to childhood is possible in Palma
The city of Palma de Mallorca has a new Museum of Toys that features over 3,000 antique pieces: dolls, cars, cardboard horses, bicycles, children's theaters, boats, dollhouses, etc. The collector Tom Boig Clar has gathered throughout his life over 7.000 toys, which will rotate in this new museum.
The Museum of Toys is located on the street Campana No. 7, next to the church of Santa Eulalia, and collects toys from the mid-nineteenth century to the late twentieth century, so that visitors can see the evolution of how children played in different times.
The museum also boasts the Toys & Tapas, a bar which offers breakfast, tapas, snacks and drinks, and a temporary exhibition hall.
