Brahms and Mahler interpreted by the Balearics Symphony

Tomorrow the Symphony Orchestra of the Balearic Islands, under the baton of Fernando Marina, will offer a concert as part of the season 2012/2013 with a repertoire that includes works by Johannes Brahms and Gustav Mahler. The concert will involve the Coral Universitat de les Illes Balears, directed by Joan Company, and the soprano Maia Planas.

This is the fifth concert of the season for the Symphony Orchestra of the Balearic Islands Ciutat de Palma, in which voice will have a strong leadership. The program includes the Song for chorus and orchestra Op 54 by Johannes Brahms and the Symphony no. 4 for soprano and orchestra by Gustav Mahler.

The concert will take place at the Teatro Principal de Palma at 8.30 pm.
