David Gómez comes back to Mallorca with his "Piano and 200 candles"
The upcoming Thursday 2nd of July the Royal Cartuja Gardens of Valldemossa will host the first of the emblematic concerts by the pianist David Gómez in Mallorca. The following concert will take place in the Great Lighthouse of Port Andratx, the 10th of July. The 29th of July the Gardens of Hotel Gpro Valparaiso of Palma will be the venue of the pianist concert. Finally, the train station in Bunyola, the Finca Son Verd of Can Novell Wines in Binissalem and the Talayotic settlement of Ses Paisses in Arta, will host the concerts of 1, 21 and 30 of August respectively.
Gómez's concerts have become a basic activity of the Mallorcan summer due to his particular style. A total of 200 candles light the renowned pianist while he plays Morricone, Granados, Chopin, Lecuona and Piazzolla's compositions, besides his own songs, including The Island, The Lighthouse, or 16 years old. All his compositions are based on the film genre, it can be said that those songs are a soundtrack which transports the viewer to a film in which time seems to stand still. Essential.
