Exhibition on the Arctic's climate change in Ibiza
From the 24th of September to the 15th of October will be shown in the square Antoni Albert i Nieto of Ibiza the exhibition 'The Arctic is broken', which aims to educate and create awareness about the effects of climate change in the Arctic and the consequences of thawing on the rest of the planet.
Much of the exhibition consists of photographs by Andoni Canela, who has traveled to Greenland, Alaska, Canada, Iceland, Russia and Lapland to immortalize the reality of the Arctic region. 'The Arctic is broken' also shows videos that explain the Northern Lights and how the polar ice caps melt. The itinerary simulates a journey between icebergs to help visitors feel immersed in the reality of the Arctic.
The exhibition, curated by the physicist Toni Pou and organized by the Obra Social La Caixa and the City Council of Ibiza, is free.
