Lego®Architecture launches Le Corbusier's villa Savoye
The house will stand in the midst of the fields like an object, without disturbing anything around it. Le Corbusier
LEGO®Architecture launches the model Villa Savoye, inspired by the emblematic property designed and developed by the Swiss architect between 1928 and 1931. Located just outside Paris, the Villa Savoye is a modern style country house with 408 m2 of constructed area built on a reinforced concrete structure on beams.
Le Corbusier was, along with Mies van der Rohe, one of the pioneers of modern architecture and one of the greatest architects of the twentieth century. His personal style, which advocates "total purity", is one of the sources of inspiration of the estate agency Dost & Co., whose philosophy is based on the theory "Less is more" by Mies van der Rohe. Villa Savoye is a gem for lovers of architecture and true followers to the LEGO®Architecture division.
