More air routes into the Palma de Mallorca's airport
This year the Son Sant Joan airport in Palma de Mallorca has introduced 52 new air routes to the capital of Mallorca in relation to 2012, a total of 339 connections. There are 88 new routes into the Balearic Islands, including the destinations of Majorca, Menorca and Ibiza.
Germany remains as the country with more connections to Mallorca, with 14 new routes which added to the existing gives a sum of 78 connections to the German nation. Among the new routes, the highlight destinations are Hamburg, Dortmund, Düsseldorf and Bremen. On the other hand, the UK has a total of 70 connections to Palma de Mallorca, including seven new routes for the summer season, mainly to London and Leeds.
Other countries that increase their connections to Mallorca are Italy, Russia, France and Norway, each with four new air routes. Switzerland, Finland, Poland, Hungary, Austria and Ireland also have increased their connections to Son Sant Joan.
