Norman Foster designs the exclusive ME London hotel by Melia
At the end of this month will be the launching of the vanguard ME London hotel, a pre-Olympic opening of the exclusive hotel by Melia that was designed by the British architect and Prince of Asturias Award for the Arts Norman Foster. The hotel, located at the original home of BBC Radio, is situated on The Strand, at the foot of the Thames and within walking distance of Covent Garden and Trafalgar Square. It offers 157 new guest rooms and suites of high standard, designed by renowned architect Norman Foster's study, in which outstanding attention to detail, with Egyptian cotton sheets, LCD TVs and a luxurious bathroom with rain shower of spa.
The avant-garde ME brand, owned by the Majorcan company Melia Hotels International, also in Cancun, Cabo, Madrid, Barcelona and soon in Vienna, consolidates in London a project that the company created in 2006 with the aim of combining design, technology, international cuisine and avant-garde music.
It also has a spectacular rooftop terrace with spectacular views of the Thames and two restaurants on the ground floor specializing in international cuisine and fusion.
