The Moscow Ballet brings this classic piece of its repertoire to the stage of the Auditòrium de Palma in its original version. The Swan Lake is the first of the three ballets composed by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky (1840-1893).
It was represented for the first time in 1877 at the Moscow Bolshoi Theatre with the choreography of Julius Reisinger, although without a big success. It was with the choreographers Marius Petipa and Lev Ivanov in 1895, when the masterpiece became successful. Petipa was in charge of the first and third acts, while Ivanov devised the second and fourth.
