The great classics vs. boogie-woogie style
The Cultural Foundation Coll Bardolet in Valldemossa hosts next Thursday a recital by the Majorcan pianist Biel Duran, who plays classics like Bach, Schumann and Chopin, with his unique style incorporating the boogie-woogie. This style of blues was popular until the sixties for its fast and danceable rhythm.
The interpreter of Valldemossa Biel Duran started playing the piano at age 4 and only three years later, after listening a Memphis Slim song in a record store in Essen (Germany), realized that R&B would be his musical expression.
For only 15 euros you can enjoy a very personal interpretation of the classics next Thursday 7th of February at 8.30pm.
