The Neubrandenburger Philharmonie in Palma
The Teatro Principal de Palma de Mallorca will close the upcoming Saturday 16th of November the 11 Mallorca Music Festival with a concert by the German Orchestra Neubrandenburger Philharmonie, which, under the direction of Stefan Malzew, will offer a program with three great works of the classical repertoire. In the opening part they will perform two works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart: Le nozze di Figaro Obertura K V 492 and Piano Concert No. 23 in A major, KV 488, with the pianist Cassandra Wyss as soloist.
In the second part Gioachino Rossini will be highlighted. The orchestra will perform a musical piece, a liturgical sequence by the Italian musician who composed it based on the traditional Catholic verses from the 13th century.
The Choir of the Teatre Principal and the Mallorcan Capella, led by José María Moreno, will accompany the Philharmonie Neubrandenburger, which will also have the participation of Karin Wolf- Bauer (soprano), Eva Maria Santana (mezzo-soprano), Milos Bulajic (tenor) and Holger Ohlmann (bass) as soloists.
