Valeria Gaia and Martin Bialas in Espacio Micus
The museum Espacio Micus in Jesus exhibits a sample of aquatic photographs by Valeria Gaia and typographical paintings Martin Bialas.
The photographs by the Italian artist Valeria Gaia are a collection of snapshots she has taken in the past nine years in French Polynesia, entitled Liquid Memory. This exhibition is a summary of four different collections exhibited in Tahiti, Paris, Tokyo and Italy and this is the first time out in Ibiza, although she has been visiting the island for years.
On the other hand, Martin Bialas focuses this time on writing and letters, which have always been present in his work, both pictorial and sculptural. "Language and writing are, as always, an essential part of my artistic work, whether sculpture or painting", says the artist.
The exhibition will be open until December. The Espacio Micus opens every Sunday from 11am to 2pm or by appointment calling the telephone (+34) 971 19 19 23. It is located on the road from Jesús to Cala Llonga at Km. 3, after the diversion of Can Furnet's urbanization.
