'White and Black': International Music Festival in Deià
In course of the series “White and Black” within the International Music Festival in Deià 2012 the German pianist Fabian Müller is giving a concert on Thursday, 20 of September at 20:30h. The terrific mansion, museum and former domicile of the archduke Louis Salvador will be the setting for the concertino with works by Beethoven, Kurtag, Ravel, Debussy and Liszt.
Young Fabian Müller, musician from Bonn, has been awarded with the International Amadeus Contest for piano in 2011 and yet features a long sequence of celebrated concerts in Germany and other European countries. The music festival in Deià, mainly dedicated to chamber music, is taking place already fort he 34th time. The venues are always spectacular locations between Deià and Valldemossa, such as the monastery Miramar or the very Finca Son Marroig. The artists and groups of national and international reputation promise great experiences of classical music.
The 2012 edition of the Deià Festival closes on Thursday, 27th September with a performance by Ramon Jaffe, cello, and Sabine Grofmeier, clarinet playing Beethoven, Bach, Gershwin, Mozart, Piazolla and Rimsky-Korsakoff, this time at the monastery Miramar at 20:30h.
