This year’s festival features, as usual, a diverse and appealing programme of concerts and international artistes at the Son Marroig Finca, located in the heart of the Tramuntana mountains, between Valldemossa and Deià. Almost every Thursday, until the 26th of September classical musicians from all over the world will perform masterpieces of great composers in history in the extraordinary landscape of the Tramuntana mountain range.

The 39 artists participating in the festival come from Mallorca, the Peninsula, the Netherlands, Kosovo, USA, Germany, Italy, Denmark, France, Austria, Estonia, Poland, Brazil, Japan and South Korea.

All this in the unique environment of Son Marroig, catalogued as “Cultural Property” in the category of “Historic Site”, due to the dose of history that invades all rooms and spaces. It is located in ancient lands of the Archduke Luis Salvador of Austria, central figure in the history of patronage in the late nineteenth and early twentieth century, and that portrayed in “Die Balearen” the charms of Majorca with great delicacy and love of nature. The gazebo with a marble Ionic temple just in front of the iconic rock Na Foradada is one of the most distinctive of the mythical possession. A heavenly place to enjoy the key works of the great composers of classical music.
